Coaching services then decrease, but are provided as needed.<\/li>\n<li><b>Group Placement.<\/b>\u00a0The employment team identifies the right candidates for the group and provides them with initial on-the-job training and continuous support during work hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hopeservices.org\/how-we-help\/day-services\/emcc-day-services\/\" data-feathr-click-track=\"true\" data-feathr-link-aids=\"68d4590dec828fdc8a016b20\">EMCC program<\/a> also helps those seeking employment.<\/p>\n<h2>Project SEARCH<\/h2>\n<p>Project SEARCH is a unique, business-led, one-year internship program that takes place entirely at the host business site. Total workplace immersion facilitates a seamless combination of classroom instruction, career exploration, and relevant job skills training through strategically designed internships. The goal is integrated employment for graduates.<\/p>\n<p>Project SEARCH teaches participants valuable skills through a combination of classroom instruction and internship experiences. This increases confidence and opportunities for future employment. Participants are taught about important concepts such as social skills in the workplace, teamwork, communication, and self-advocacy. Paid internship work opportunities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Data Entry<\/li>\n<li>Filing<\/li>\n<li>Stocking and Inventory<\/li>\n<li>Mail Processing<\/li>\n<li>Clerical Work<\/li>\n<li>Shipping and Receiving<\/li>\n<li>Environmental Services<\/li>\n<li>Food Safety and Preparation<\/li>\n<li>Lab Assistant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hope has two ongoing Project SEARCH collaborations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lucile Packard Children&#8217;s Hospital and Stanford Medical Center<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t<h3>Service Eligibility for Community Employment<\/h3>\n<p>Service eligibility is determined by a regional center.
